The modern visual narratives of the Nepalese artists are drawn
from a very rich traditional religious iconography and
symbolism concerning universal human questions.

The works made by the invited artists focus on social issues such
as the status of women, human trafficking, migration, climate
change, politics, war, the corruption of power, and a growing
awareness of one’s ethnicity and cultural heritage.
